Don't Miss the Boat!

We all know life is about choices, and depending on the ones you make can dictate the path our lives will go down. I had to be reminded last night.

God gave me a dream last night, someone that I used to cover reached out to me, but I didnt catch the text message until a few hours later. It said, "I'm on the way to your house." While staring at the text I could then see what was going on at that time and what was taking them so long, they were drunk, and they seemed so lost. All of a SUDDEN I wound up sitting right next to them. Next to the young man was a woman she had to be in her 40's and she took on the role of a mentor in his life, however her desire was to manipulate the anointing on his life through ability to sing. I asked him why hadn't he made it to my house yet and he said that he got lost along the way but he still intended on coming. I waited as long as I could and when I realized he wasn't planning on moving I left to find my husband. Their was a Cruise Ship taking off the cool thing about it was it was in water but the water was in the sky. As I approached the docking doors to the boat my husband pulled up the door and I wasn't able to get in. His last words to me was what took you so long, I told him and he said I told you to leave it alone. The boat began to move and  there I was left standing alone.

For many who read this, you may not understand what God was saying, and for others you may pull your own interpretation. But this is the true interpretation. At times when it comes to covering people or mentoring them you want to see that person succeed. You will sacrifice, and forfeit God's will just to feel a sense of I completed the assignment with that particular individual. However, you have a choice. When God sends people into your life and there is a mutual understanding of the assignment and its forfeited by the individual don't beat yourself up. People tend to forget that when it comes to prophecy and God's will, God never forces us to make the right decision. Don't miss your initial Purpose and Destiny over your life. It's one thing when your dealing with a lost baby, but when a baby has graduated to becoming an Adult they are then held accountable for their right and wrongs. That's why when it comes to the judgement of God, when a innocent child dies they go to heaven. It's not until you know right from wrong that God holds you accountable for whats good and bad.

Never forget the bigger picture: SOULS. There are too many people who need Jesus, to be pushed into their destined place. It's okay to Love what you do but ALWAYS USE WISDOM if not you WILL MISS THE BOAT.

Test those Waters

It's been awhile since I've blogged, so much has happened since the last time I posted. God has most definitely poured more of his infinite wisdom, revelation, and understanding concerning the spirit realm and the body of Christ as a whole. Something that I know needs addressing when it comes to healthy spiritual growth is testing out the Waters before taking a dip.

Water has such a powerful meaning behind it, its actually how the Holy spirit is portrayed in the Spirit realm. However, just like in the natural we have murky waters the same applies in the spirit. Back in the day I used to go to a church for a few Sundays and then join membership. Did you know there is warfare that comes with the membership? I used to attend a church where the Spirit of Poverty was heavy, before I attended I never had financial issues, bills were paid on time, and I always had money left over to play with. After joining the poverty stricken church even with paying tithes and offering I was always BROKE. I started to get depressed and questioning God about his promises. God revealed to me why I was being attacked one day in prayer it was because of what I welcomed into my home (my spirit) when I joined the church. If I could fit a scripture at this point it would be Ephesians 6:12, " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood..." It didn't make sense when he revealed it to me at first, but it started to make more sense as I began to pay attention.

Revelation is like a fresh pair of contacts, you begin to see everything. I noticed how there was always a pressing for sacrificial offerings, people always needing to borrow money from the church to pay bills, etc... When I finally left that place of worship, a shift happened in my life with my finances. This can also be applied to spirits such as lust, adultery, fornication, lying, gossiping, etc... Spirits aren't always transferred through the laying of hands, if your spirit is open in an atmosphere with demonic forces it makes it easier for the enemy to enter in. You may have never been a whore monger, but you find yourself lusting after the opposite (for many the same sex due to the relevancy of the homosexual spirit in the church) sex, or you find yourself being tormented when you were never the one to experience that until you started attending a certain church. Always remember you can't call every place home, I don't care how anointed the Pastor is, or how big the church is. Make sure you try it out. Deception is the new face of ministry and because its a spirit it can mold into any atmosphere, leader, or church. DISCERNMENT is the KEY.
